CD Cases

I saw these on Splitcoast stampers first and then I saw that Emily had made a couple. I was trying to think about how I could use these as a gift item. Then I decided that I could make at least one to put my son's Senior Picture CD in. My brother took over 750 photos of my son for his senior pictures and they are all on one cd. I decided I would make it into a scrapbooking page.

Then I remembered that I had two cd's to give to friends so I played around with my aunt's Cricut and made them each one also with their names on the front. Here is how they turned out.

Here is one of my son's Senior pictures.

I love CRICUT!

I spent several hours at my aunt's house today. I made a few different paper crafts but the craft that I just loved was using vinyl in her Cricut. We made this name tile to set in my entry way. My uncle helped me place the letters. I learned a lot. I must make something else using this technique.
To make the day even better--A gas station in town had a grand opening and I was informed by a friend that they were selling gas for $1.39/gallon. I got there and filled my tank. It cost me $10 for half a tank!

Crochet on a Sweatshirt?

I've been wanting to try to crochet on a sweatshirt for a long time. I saw a book of instructions many years ago, but didn't want to pay for something I thought I could figure out on my own. I decided to spend the $6.00 on a sweatshirt and give it a shot. What did I have to lose?

I got a lot of compliments on it. Here is what it looks like.

Goodwill Bargains!

Today I got two Goodwill bargains. I'm excited about my new storage. First is from the Ames Goodwill--it appears to be some type of "mailbox" for an office possibly. I am going to try using it for my 8 1/2 x 11 paper storage. This way I can sort it by colors. It was $6.99. The second is a Tupperware container that is very deep and has a shelf that you can take up with more storage underneath. I'm going to use it for all my punches. It was $3.99.
