These pillowcases took me years to make. I bought the kit to take with me on vacation to Kentucky one year and I finished one while I was there. The second pillow case has taken 2-3 years to finish. I decided to start taking unfinished projects to my stitching group which meets every Wednesday night. Once I started taking it with me, I finished it in 3 weeks (I only worked on it Wednesday nights). If only I had a guest room to put them in. :-)

Embroidered pillowcases

ISU Scarf
Finally! I got a picture of my brother wearing the scarf I made him for Christmas. I think it looks good on him. What do you think?
Adoption Celebration!
A friend from high school and her husband adopted twin baby boys. The adoption was final this Friday. They had a celebration in Des Moines on Saturday. I made the boys each a fleece blanket. The babies are so cute! I hope the boys love their blankets as much as I loved making them.
